Rocky MountainSQL

The rockymountain Sql server user group
Welcome to the Rocky Mountain SQL Server User Group
It’s been a while that we had our own website. This site is a web presence again.

This site will provide information on building mysql  databases and how to use them as well as having information on all things web including seo and web site design.

Our tool of the month is Seo Magnifer site explorer, it allows you to check backlinks from your competitors which is very handy in seo. The site also has a rank checker so you can check were you rank for any keyword – hell of a tool.

Wed design is by Website Designers Australia if you are interested in website design then we can help.

Enjoy!

Job Openings

We use a Job Board called Job Searcho where job opportunities can be posted including vacancies in Australia – Jobs in Australia, UK  -  UK Jobs, USA – US Jobs.

Jobs can be posted and searched including IT jobs, programming jobs and teaching jobs. For now if you need help finding a job go to Recruit For Less – Job Search, this company helps people find jobs in the IT industry.

Meetings
The Rocky Mountain SQL Server User Group used to meet every third Thursday of the month at the Denver Office of Microsoft. The Meetings started at around 6:00 pm and the formal part started at 6:30 pm. We typically have presentations and discussions lasting until about 8:00 pm or 8:15 pm. New times and dates will be posted here.

If you want to sponsor an evening, that is also possible. We accept sponsorships in the form of snacks from recruiters and technology providers and they get up to 15 minutes of presentation time.

Presentations
We are having presentations on various subjects every month centering around SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005. The subjects range from administrative details to database modeling via Object Role Modeling and other domains where the database is just a supporting backend storage.

If you are interested in giving a presentation, sign up on our Presentation Page along with a description of the topic.
